	1639 24th Avenue South Grand Forks, ND 58201   Homestead Place is a community of 50 units designed for people 62 years of age or older and persons with a disability. There are 45 one-bedroom units and 5 efficiency units. The building has wide hallways with handrails and a spacious community room where noon meals are offered for purchase Monday through Friday. A Resident Service Coordinator is available and offers referral, advocacy, and assistance to the tenants. Units include: Stove, refrigerator, air conditioner are provided. Tenant pays for electricity including electric heat. The owner pays for hot and cold water, sewer, and garbage Cable TV is available at a discounted flat monthly rate with no hook up charges. Laundry facilities are available on each floor. The large community room on the first floor has a kitchen and opens onto a patio. The Senior Citizen Center offers noon meals Monday through Friday. Assigned off street parking with a car plug-in available for the winter months at a flat seasonal fee. Visitor parking spaces are identified. Homestead is a security building with intercom system in each unit. Homestead has an elevator. A Resident Service Coordinator provides referral service and resident advocacy. The Homestead Learning Center is available for use by residents offering computers and internet access. The Kvasager Learning Center is also available for use by Homestead residents offering educational and social activities for adults and youth.
